In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in Runtastic’s future by representing product development at the executive level. You’ll work with your motivated teams to define the vision and strategy for our product portfolio to create best-in-class digital running and training experiences for our users.

As part of our Management team, you’ll participate in planning our company goals and report directly to our CEO.

 

You’ll contribute by:

  • Leading and mentoring our team of managers in the areas of Product Management, UI/UX Design and User Research
  • Frequently aligning with your Product Management teams regarding product roadmaps, metrics and OKRs to drive progress and determine short and long-term resource allocation
  • Representing and driving a strong product culture which includes a data-driven and learning oriented mindset
  • Working with your teams to define, communicate, and implement the vision and strategy of our products in accordance with the overall company strategy
  • Encouraging curiosity and exploration of the future of “connected athlete experience” among all teams, partners, the adidas brand and product, and our innovation teams
  • Continuing to expand our world-class capabilities to unite millions of athletes around purpose (Run For The Oceans, Hometeam Hero Challenge, etc.)
  • Being accountable for the product management budget and forecasts
  • Collaborating with the VP of Product Engineering on resource needs and improving the product development cycle
  • Partnering with department leads (particularly in Engineering, Marketing, and Content) to align on priorities and remove roadblocks

 

What makes you the right match:

  • 10+ years of work experience in Product Development / Management, preferably in the sports or tech industry
  • Empathetic, people-centered mindset and a passion for leadership
  • Extensive experience in leading a team of managers
  • In-depth knowledge of agile product management and product design for mobile products at a global level
  • Excellent communication skills and a high-level of proficiency in English
  • Considerable experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Outstanding prioritization and time management skills
  • Visionary mind with the willingness to lead and drive cross functional, company-wide initiatives
  • Ideally, familiarity working with the OKR method

 

Salary information

And here’s the fine print: Our salary range for this position starts at EUR 73,900 gross per year. Your actual offer depends on your skill set and experience.
